Champions of change

Nazar Ibrahim is 33 years old, in 2019 began to lose the sense of his lower part of body, due to paraplegia disease, that constricted his movement. Then Nazar went through a very deep depression and anxiety, which led him to be isolated from the public and social activities. Moreover, during the war he arrived to Wadi Halfa, NAZAR absolutely depended on others.

NADA team Through the RRF intervention in Wadi Halfa found Nazar at the  hospital, provided him with PSS sessions, mobility aid (wheel chair) and referred to receive other services.

 NAZAR started to overcome his life challenges. Acknowledging a strong need for self-sufficiency, Nazar started to serve himself, has greatly increased his sense of independence and self-esteem.

Mental health wise was shown improvement gradually and made him engage in social activities and social media and break his old constants silence.
